Plans are already underway that will see Donnybrook Station transformed by a multi-million-dollar upgrade into a modern commuting hub. Future electrification of the north–east line will create a metropolitan train, rather than a regional service. An interchange upgrade to the Hume Highway will provide Platform residents with continuing direct access to the ever-expanding amenity in Melbourne’s north, as well as an easy 40-minute drive to the CBD.

The crisp, clear waters of Merri Creek meander through Platform, running north–west.
